From the vineyards of Lafões, in Quinta da Colmeia, are born Chão do Vale wines, from a very special place in the region of Vouzela, called São Miguel do Mato; they are field blend, endogenous grape varieties of the Demarcated Region of Lafões, from where it’s so emphasized: in the white grapes, the rich grape varieties of Arinto, Cerceal and Dona Branca, and in the red grapes - from which the wine "Chão do Vale Rosé" is made - Amaral, Tinta, Roriz and Jaen varieties.

With a very difficult and uneven maturation, the challenge of making Lafões wine is appealing and an attempt to maintain and update a wine with so much history, bringing to the modernity of the XXI th century the ancestors’ flavors of the rich and fertile region of Vouzela.
